Hey guys, wow its been quite a while since my last entry, almost a month. Anyway as the title says I have a proposition for you all. Basically over the summer I like to committee to projects in order to keep me from going insane. I usually draw or read a lot. This is mostly because our internet at home sucks and we only have 7 tv channels so being creative is a way for me to be entertained. (Perhaps this is why I'm so creative?) Anyway this year I want to write a novel or start a novel whichever happens. Problem is its hard to keep motivated when no one is reading your work and pressuring you to do it. Not that I don't want to do it, its just easier when you feel like doing it will make people's days a little brighter.

Now here is the proposition. As I said this summer I want to write a novel or at least some chapters to know if I have any creative writing capabilities. This means I need people to read and tell me what they think about my writing. That's where you come into play and I'm begging here. I need YOU to come and read my work which hopefully I'll update a chapter a week or if I don't have time at least fix a chapter a week. What do you get out of it? Hopefully a good read, knowing you helped someone whiles she's isolated over the summer and working two jobs, and who knows maybe know a famous writer before she's famous. (Yeah I know the last one is a long shot.) Also as a bonus you guys get to pick which story I write. I will be putting up small tidbits of two, maybe four, if your lucky, of the stories I have in my head this week. I also might put an example of the first chapter on here too.

After I put up the previews you can vote by either here on deviantart or if you know me on facebook just note me there and if non of those work e-mail me at sundaywaffles@yahoo.com. Once a story is selected I will start working on it after finals are done and will post a chapter or something once a week. Mostly on my day off which is probably going to be Saturday or Sunday. Then you have a week to read and respond on deviantart, facebook, or again via e-mail. The chapters will be put on deviantart but if you rather get e-mails just tell me its no problem.

The only thing that I won't tolerate though is stealing so remember everything I create is mine and also this project is NOT a fan fiction. My stories will have elements of other stories like most stories these day but they are all 100% original.

Anyway here is a teeny tiny preview of the two stories up for election. Two more stories might come later if I think I can get them together in time. Note that these some of these names are not official yet and so a character's name might change from here until production in which I will warn you and will tell you an official name at some point.

"Wanted: Roommate"
Genre: Comedy with a little bit of drama and love story mixed in but mostly comedy
Description: Kristine Poller's life is going great. She's just graduated from college with her business degree and got a great starter job at the large McNeilson business firm. Now all she needs to do is find a place to live and New York is proving to be a very expensive city to live in. After combing the wanted ads she finds a suitable place but the current roommates are anything but normal. Keep coming back for more info.

"Cops and Robbers" (Title will probably change)
Genre: Action/Drama with a fair amount of comedy mixed in
Description: A hardcore cop teams up with one of the city's most wanted felon in order to infiltrate the city's biggest mafia. From two totally different worlds, they must learn to work together in order to bring down Big Daddy and escape with their lives.
Quote for me: "Think of it as Batman teaming up with a baddie and going undercover with them. That's the basic plot. Well, sort of."

These two stories are not in the contest officially yet but if I get enough comments about them I will add them in.

"New West"
Genre: Scifi/Action/Western warning this one is really weird and more scifi than action and deals with a post-apocalyptic earth. Also this story is still very young and rough so I don't have as many details yet.
Description: After an apocalyptic event that caused the world to go into a cold war, the world has reverted back to the days of the old west and the only ones keeping any control are the bounty hunters. But something weird is going on and four rival bounty hunters must work together in order to save the world.
Quote from the story: "The faith of the world rest on the shoulders of outlaws."

"Compound" (Name will probably change)
Genre: Mystery/Scifi a fair bit of action too
Description: At the Newaunce Military Research Compound a dangerous experiment has escaped and must be found immediately. While in the neighboring town a teenage girl finds a very sick teenage boy homeless int the streets and takes him home to her uncle who once worked as a medical researcher at the Newaunce Compound. But it isn't long before the two relatives find out that this boy is not ordinary kid especially when the military gets involve. Too bad the teenage boy can't remember anything before he met the uncle's niece.
Author's note: I have a very rough short story version of this story that I started last year in my first year at college. A lot has changed except most of the opening sequence almost none of that has changed. If you could label this story I think you might call it Michael Chichton worthy.

Anyway thats it. If you are interested in helping me this summer somehow get into contact with me. I will write no matter what but having people see and respond to your work is a great way to keep motivated. Plus I want to share these stories with the world and show off my truly creative side. I have many more stories in my head and if this project goes well I might do another one. Thanks for reading this far.
